PSA09 Overview

The Public Sector Agreement (PSA09) is a new Microsoft software purchasing agreement for the UK public sector. It is the result of collaborative engagement between Buying Solutions on behalf of the public sector, Microsoft and its Resellers.

There are many benefits of the new Public Sector Agreement (PSA09) for UK Government including:

  • Choice and flexibility in the licensing of Enterprise Products. In addition to the existing MS Desktop Packages beneficial Enterprise discounts have been extended to a new set of Public Sector Packages
  • Attractive discounts including Increased discounts for Select customers and a new model for Subscription Enterprise Agreements, offering a choice to further reduce annual costs
  • True-down options for Enterprise Agreement customers
  • Introduction of cross government licence transferabilityto allow the Public Sector to re-allocate licences, where possible
