Technology Overview
The service utilises the industry leading Snow Software Inventory and License Management suite tailored delivered from Civica's own platform environment and hosted in Civica's own dedicated Data Centre. The service will allow an organisation to view all information related to applications & manufacturers, computers, users and related contracts from a simple menu as shown left.
Because the information is refreshed daily you can report quickly and easily on up-to-date information 24 hours a day, seven days a week and as the system allows you to export these reports directly to Microsoft Excel it becomes really easy to manage everything from budgeting and house-keeping to refresh projects.
All the information is available, viewed and accessed simply from the start menu which also allows instant alerting for everything from un-scanned machines to agreements that are about to expire.

Optional SMS / SCCM Configuration?
In addition to the above, Civica have created an option to be able to connect to an existing Microsoft SMS or SCCM environment and extract inventory and usage information via this connection. This means that no additional agent would need to be deployed onto network machines. To find out more about this option please contact Civica today.
