Civica Services Limited’s Standard Trading Policy
The following is an extract from Civica’s standard trading policy
Thank you for ordering with Civica. In order to improve our quality of service, we advise you read the following conditions carefully.
- Purchase Orders: Your contact name, telephone number and email address IS REQUIRED to be clearly marked on your Purchase orders (incase we need to verify products & pricing). Failure to do so may lead to delays in your order being processed.
- Please ensure that you supply us with the version and platform of the products you are ordering
- Transaction Fee: On some orders Civica will charge a transaction fee. The fee represents the administrative costs for transacting these orders and enables the individual software licence prices to be as competitive as possible. To achieve best value we recommend consolidating your orders.
- Cancellations: To cancel or make changes to your order before your delivery, this SHOULD be done in writing, either by fax, 020 7760 2888 or email to customersupport@licencetoclick.com. You will receive confirmation of your changes so please ensure we have your correct contact details.
- Delivery: Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you upon delivery - do not sign for damaged parcels. Unless otherwise agreed, all quotes exclude VAT & carriage at standard rate.
- We are unable to deliver to PO Box numbers
- Refused delivery’s may incur a return charge
- Civica may recieve incentive payments from manufacturers for advisory services
Terms of Delivery & Return
- Checking: If your order is incorrect or you are dissatisfied with the quality, you ARE REQUIRED to notify Customer Services within 5 days. We are happy to accept a return of the unopened goods provided they are returned to us within 10 days of invoice. No credits can be issued outside of this timescale.
- Suppliers: Civica are bound by returns rights of our Vendors and reserve the right to pass any charges relating to returns which are not the fault of Civica or Civica’s supplier to you the buyer. As of February 2006, there are NO returns rights for the following products IBM, NAI, QuarkXpress, Business Objects, Dameware & Macromedia.
- Informing: Once in receipt of delivery, any discrepancies in your shipment must be notified to the Customers Services Department immediately at the following address customersupport@licencetoclick.com, or phone 020 7760 2896 quoting “our ref” (found on your delivery note). If you fail to notify the Customers Services Department of goods received in error within the above timescale you will be liable to pay for the goods.
- If you wish to return goods for any other reason, there may be a restocking fee to cover admin costs unless otherwise agreed
